Plataforma Atacama Plataforma Atacama is an independent organization that seeks to create artistic and cultural projects in different regions of Chile where the artists will connect with its geography, its people and traditions. The project aims to support and broaden the cultural scene in Chile by inviting contemporary artists to inhabit different regions of the country where they can reflect and create. The invited artists are not only asked travel and explore but also to respond to the cultural, historical, political and social aspects of the environment. |
There are no rigid guidelines for the final work and the outcome of the various projects is expected to be diverse, culminating not only in exhibitions but among other things in performances, publications, time-based and digital work. |
